Girls in dance class

OUR STUDIO

We created JET Dance with the vision of an inclusive space that inspires a passion for the arts.

When you walk inside, you'll be greeted with a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere where students will be able to be themselves.

Our current location offers one large dance studio room, accompanied with a small area for students to share a meal, and seating arrangements for parents awaiting their children to finish class.

Our Team

Skilled instructors with years of experience and a passion for teaching dance.

Alysha

MISS ALYSHA

Alysha loved to dance even before her first class at the age of 3. Beyond Aly's formal training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, musical theatre, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and performance dance, she has also taken workshops in a variety of styles. At the age of 5 she started performing in competitions and feels at home on the stage. After performing in two shows on a cruise ship, and at a resort in Mexico, she found a love for entertaining that motivated her to look past competitive dance. She is now in her second year with the Young Canadians and had the privilege of performing in the 2021 Grand Stand show at the Calgary Stampede. The experience instilled an eye for professionalism that extends beyond the stage.

Aly's greatest passions in dance are found in Hip Hop and Acro and she loves sharing this passion through performance, choreography, and helping others develop their own talents. She was a student teacher focused on hip hop and jazz classes for ages 4 to 13, helping with teaching and adding to choreography. She knows how dance can help strengthen self esteem and confidence and strives to foster a positive and supporting environment around her.

MISS JORDAN

Jordan has an extensive dance background, with starting dance training at the age of 5 years old, and teaching at the age of 14. After their apprenticeship with their dance teachers in Lethbridge, Jordan moved on to study under Brian and Faye Foley in Toronto Ontario to earn their ADAPT Teachers Training Certificate in Jazz and Tap.

Jordan also has also choreographed for various dance shows in Lethbridge, including dance performances for a live band in 2012.

As owner, and creative director at JET Dance, Jordan's goal is for children to have the best dance education possible. They want their students to be set up for a promising and successful future in the world of performative arts, and have the skills they need to grow into strong dancers.
